Hello all,
My son's 2000 altima has developed an issue where the rear brake and running lamps are always on.
I originally thought it was the stop lamp switch since the rubber stop had fallen apart. However, this did not fix the problem.
Both filaments are lit on both tail lights, as wel as the center stop lamp, even with the brake lamp switch removed.
The original switch also seems to work opposite of what I believe it should be. It is closed when depressed and open when released.
There must be a short somewhere, but I am unsure where the wiring is routed, colors, etc.. so any and all help is greatly appreciated. All I have is the Haynes book. but I am not sure how accurate it is. or if there is any modules involved wih this circuit.
Anyone?
