On my CA harness, right after the ECU main plug, are 2 white connectors. I know one goes to the KA under-dash wiring, where does the other one go? Ive been reading the FSM and am still unsure of its use. Thanks in advance!

Pics? Sounds kinda weird. Is it possible that it's a plug for some sort of piggy back?

Ill get a pic up this evening. I have the ECU connector, then a whit e connector which is to be wired to the KA dash wiring, then just before the firewall grommet is another white connector.

As a side note, I got the CA in this weekend, and got everything hooked up execpt for some of the wiring. Pretty easy swap so far!

that plug is for the control unit for a auto transmission. That harness came out of a car that had a auto transmission in it. I have one also. If you don't have a auto transmission then don't need it.

Thanks for the quick response, I decided to post a pic up anyways in case anyone ever runs into this later on.

At the top of the pic, just before the grommet is the white connector I was referring to.

I do have one more question though. I disconnected two connectors from my KA harness located on the passenger side of the engine bay right behind the battery. One was a red connector and the other was a regular grey one. My question is what are these for and what, if anything, will be connected to them?

My bad, the connector is brown, not red.

Yes. Im at work right now so I cant tell you exactly how many wires there are, ill check later. IIRC the brown one has 4 wires and the grey one had around 6-8.

Thanks for the quick response! I read the writeup on heavythrottle but didnt realize that was for the first section of their wiring explination. If I have the time I think im gonna take pics and do a proper write-up of the wiring required.
