Wiring an R33 gauge cluster into an s13

As everyone that has ever done an Rb swap into an s chassis knows that none of your gauges work after the swap, and there are a million different threads on here about it, so if there is a thread that somebody has asked this same question could you please point me in the right direction, anyways i am going to be daily driving my car when i get my license and i would like to have a tach and a spedo, i have been looking on ebay and you can get a r33 skyline gauge cluster for about $105 shipped which is pretty cheap, here is my question the cluster only comes with short pigtails for the plugs coming out of the back of the cluster, a lot of other threads say that you need the cluster harness that runs to the big white plug on the engine harness, could i just make a new jumper harness and wire the pigtails from the back of the cluster directly into the engine harness or is it more complex than that, if anyone has done something similar to this could you please let me know if it worked properly, i am guessing this wouldnt be a problem but i dont want to spend the money on a cluster only to find out that i need the whole harness. thanks

I have not attempted it as I have a functioning HUD, but if you want, I have my R33 cluster with 12" pigtail F/S. I could probably swing $100 shipped, provided your in continental US.

My whole gauge cluster worked with my RB20. Id expect the same with a 25 or 26 unless you just didn't connect some wires...
