I got a dual electric fan from an altima and i dont want both of them to running the second i turn on the car. Is the a wire that i can run a relay from to only have the secong fan turn on when the car is hot? The first relay i will run off of the fual pump fuse.Thanx

Yes, or 10-15 @ Kragen/Pep Boys/Autozone if you need it quicker.

I use the Hayden adjustable thermostat - worked just fine... once I fixed it after the spring popped -> make sure you secure where it is at, not very fun to overheat the car.

What about if i wire one of the electric fans with a relay off the fuel pump and the other wires to the ac fan. What are the conditions for the ac fan to turn on> is it just when you turn on the ac or does it have and overheat protection and come on if the ac is off but the car is hot?

Well, there are a variety at summit. One type goes on teh radiator fins - delayed temp reading, not as accurate, but easier to do.

The other type goes in the coolant stream, much more accurate, but slightly more pita.

I have the one on the fins - hayden has instructions, as i'm sure every other kit does as well.

The a/c fan turns on when you turn on the a/c & "I think" when the car starts hitting a ridiculous temperature -> not sure on that last one nor the actual temperature (mayber 215 degrees or so?).

Easier to run a dual relay setup.

the aux ac fan turns on when you have the AC turned on or the ECU reads the car is in an overheat situation. so if you want one fan to cool while the other acts as a back up fan, wire the second fan into the stock connector for the AC. its a brown and black wire combo i think.
