wiring altima fans

hey gys, just had a question with the wiring. i searched other places, but nothing had a super duper clear cut definition. i read that when you wire both the yellow and blue is the high speed. black and green is ground. Now when i wire both to power, it doesnt work. just yellow = push air. Blue = pull , but it doesnt seem like it is on the high speed..... can i wire the yellow and blue together, then that to power? or does each need its own power wire???? thanks

black isn't ground, I didn't use it in my setup. Yellow or blue is high (I forgot which is which but you can easily test, the other is low) and green is ground.Push and pull are dependant on what wire you got to + and what to -.
