Hi,

I just got my new 2009 Nissan Versa Hatchback S and had a quick question. I havent looked yet but how hard is it to wire aftermarket speakers into the stock locations. I'm not wiring an amp, just looking for clearer sound. Is it as easy as just connecting positive and negative wires to the speakers or is there more to it? I have no money to purchase an amp, just have some Alpine Type S speakers laying around from my old Integra.

Thanks!

Do you have the SL model with the higher end stereo?

very simple to replace, just follow the guide that we have on the forum.

The base speakers are molded into a bracket which I ended up using as a adapter for my JL as they were a tad too deep. All i did was tore off the speakers and left the bracket intact. you will see what I mean the minute you pull one out.

All you have to do is splice your new wires from speakers to existing speaker wires.

wiring a 4 channel amp is time consuming, did it 2 weeks ago...Hate the process but I do love the results.
