Im new to this site, and from what ive learned from just reading is great!

Well to the question......

I have installed systems in my car, and everyones in the neighborhood. But now my sister wants a small system in hers.

So i got 1 12" Alpine Type R, a small 400x1 Amp, and 1 Farad Cap

The thing is ive searched high and low, to find a gromet to put the 4 gauge wire through, the battery located up front on passenger, so i wanna keep wire on that side.

Anywhere to run this wire??????

Thanks in advance for any help!

theres this place you can run it thru on the drivers side. but i didnt go that way, i just drilled a small hole in the firewall on the passengers side, so if you want to keep it on the pass side, then just drill a hole.

Remove the passenger side front inner fender liner. It is plastic and attached with screws that are easy to see. Peel down the liner and look in towards the antenna. you will see where the antenna cable goes through the firewall. I drilled a hole about an inch away from the antenna hole and fished a 4 gauge wire from the battery through this hole. Be very careful when drilling the hole. The heater fan and ductwork are on the other side of the firewall. Just don't press hard on the drill. Let it cut through with slight pressure so you can control the drill and prevent going too deep. I used a grommet that was very similar to the one used for the antenna cable. Do not do this without some kind of grommet lining the drilled hole. A direct short of a 4 gauge from the battery will be sure to cause fireworks before the fuse blows.
