Wiring 1999 headlight in 1997 Q45

I am having trouble wiring this. This is probably easier getting the wiring harness off of 1999 model. I'm just wondering what else is needed to get this to work?

On 1999-2001 models, if you turn on the high beam do the low beams turn off? or do they both stay on?

Please someone help. Help is very appreciated. Thanks.
