wires from ka transmission

on my 96 ka there is are a few wires coming out of the top of the transmission towards the front and they go into a plug, but on my 90 ka there are no wires? what are they and where do they go?

right on top of the bellhousing? this is a magnetic pickup for the flywheel rotation. not really sure what its actually used for.

i did a 5spd swap on an s14, the guy gave me an s13 transmission to use which you know doesnt have this. his car ran fine
