Here is the deal, Im tired of having to use the shared internet connection from my computer to play xbox live, it is unreliable, and i have to play on a 19 inch monitor, when we have a perfectly good 52 inch hi-def TV in the living room.

So i took the wireless router into the living room and ran a hard wire to my xbox. Everything works at this point, 2 computers using wireless cards, and the xbox all connect to the net. Here is where it messes up, we have digital cable, and it uses a ethernet cable running to the little receiver, so i just ran another wire from the router to the reciever, the cable works fine, but then i get "limited connections" on the 2 computers, and cant access the internet.

If i unplug the TV cable, no problems.... plug it back in and it is a ***** again. Any suggestions?

weird...maybe the cable itself is frayed or broken or something that is causing the signal to not be good.

Ive never ever seen that issue before (not saying its not possible).
