wired wrong?... but it's running

u know the plugs by the battery area...

well the strange thing is i read the black/yellow wire (idle air control valve power) on the SR harness is supposed to be connected to black/yellow on the KA harness... but on mine the black/yellow wire from the KA harness is connected to one of the 2 brown wires (the outer one) on the same harness and it runs and starts fine. the black/yellow wiere on the SR harness is not connected to anything...

i tried connecting the black/yellow wire on the SR harness to the black/yellow wire on the KA harness and the car would not start at all. it would crank though...

so i ended up connecting the wires like they were... black/yellow wire to brown wire.

can anyone explain why it works with the black/yellow wire connected to the brown wire and not the black/yellow wire connecting to the other black/yellow wire (as it is supposed to be)???
