No, but I have long contemplated it. I would like to do it properly and only run the wires I need to run. I understand you can save some 70lbs by ditching all the pointless wires.

70 LBS!! wow, I'm going to start tearing out wires!

Please take tons of pictures. I want to do something similar over the winter. My fuss box is soo ugly and in the way plus half the relays I don't even need anymore because I changed to a different computer.

I removed a lot of wires from the engine harness and while it was a huge bundle, it was maybe 5lbs. 70lbs would be most of the wires. I can see a stripped out chassis with no interior lights or systems, running a MegaSquirt v2 and custom fuse panels dropping some weight, but 70lbs is almost the entire wiring on the car.

I actually have the entire wiring of an S13 in a box (fusebox and all) and while it is pretty heavy I think it is a few pounds short of 70.

Either way get er done Jared!
