Ok, i have searched but to no avail... I want to move my battery to the hatch, but all i need to know is the best way to route the wires through the car, and i can't really think of that, cause i've never taken up the carpet or seats or anything. Please don't post and tell me that this is pointless, cause i've heard it before, so yuck fou. thanks

Generally speaking, I run power wires like this. Battery is on the passenger side, so open up the passenger door and check inside the fenderwell, there is usually a decent sized wire port. bring your wire in there, keep it away from the main harness and ECU as best you can.

Remove the door jam and pull the carpet between the pass. seat and the door sill up (i prefer to remove the pass. seat, but thats me). Run the wire tight along the bottom of the chassy, zip tie it down in places if you feel the need.

S13 back seats are retardo easy to remove, pop those out and unhook the carpeting where needed. Keep track of where all those little fasners go, i always have a few extra when i re-install.

From there It should all be detail work, then just put everything back togeher in reverse order. I'll snap some pics of the wire port i'm talking about if I get my car back tomorrow.

You can run 2 if you feel the need, but if the stock battery is weak, just get a better battery, not much use in putting in two just cause the stock one sucks. and you don't even need that unless you yourself are having problems with the stock battery. kinda like having 2 engines just cause the stock one isn't up to your standards

If you're running a battery from the rear, I cannot stress enough to get BATTERY cable, NOT welding wire. LatMo is right, it's not so much more battery, because you still have the whole volt/ohm=amps thing so the extra batt won't make a noticeable difference. That of course depends on whether you wire in series or parallel. Also, you can check your wiring, your problem may be there. If you're looking for the extra amperage for accesories, stereo, etc, consider running an additional alternator solely for what you're running. there will be a bit of parasitic power loss, but in reality it's not much.
