wire question

im moving my battery to the hatch, and i need to know if i can use some 4 gauge Stinger wire i have that was used to power an amp, or is it not the right kind of wire? i just need to know because i dont want to spend an *** load of money on new wire if i can just use what i have. thanks

4 gauge is fine. Your battery cables under the hood are barely 8 gauge. 4 gauge from the trunk would be good.

ok, thanks. is it going to be ok to use the Stinger cable though? i just want to make sure it is made out of the right material.

yeah that stinger wire will be fine. it will actually be better.

ok, thanks a lot, thats what i needed to know, i almost got done drilling holes to mount the battery tray today, so ill hopefully have it moved in the next few days.
