Wussup everybody,

So over the weekend I finally was able to get my coilovers / parts installed (1997 Infiniti Q45). I have heard and seen some little write ups regarding the dreaded wire harness on the driver side, when dropping your car. I can't seem to find any good pictures / threads about this. I have tucked the wire higher, however it doesn't seem to be high enough. It's still slightly rubbing, and It doesn't seem to have much more play to go any higher. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or for anyone who has done this job to chime in!

Here are some pics of where the car sits now and the parts installed over the weekend.
-Coilovers: JIC FLT-TAR
-New front lower ball joint
-New Outer Tie Rods
-Megan: Front Tension Rods
-Megan: Rear Toe Arms
-Megan:Rear Upper Control Arms

*Not VIP low, but its maxed out.*

I ended up hammering in parts of the inner fender (chassis) where the wire would first hit and was able to raise it up a good inch to inch and a half of where it was sitting incase anyone was interested. If not then this thread can be closed. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing the solution with us.

It seems like this isn't familiar territory to most here, and I'm pretty sure this thread will come in handy when someone else is looking into this... or even those considering the same suspension setup as "what else needs to be done".

Seems like I have to raise the rear end of the harness a little bit higher which I do have slack due to hammering in the inner fender a bit. I honestly don’t know what these guys who are laying frame do to the harness?? They must cut and re route it. But definitely a must if anyone plans on lowering their cars, as I’ve read horror stories of people unaware and ripping right through the harness.
