Is it common for the injector connectors to corrode on a z32? Can it keep a car from starting? Is there a good way to fix them without replacing the harness? Also how do you disarm the security feture? Thanks
Jeff

It is very common for the injector connectors to corrode. Also, the CAS, PTU,MAF and Coil packs connectors will corrode. You can clean them. I use contact cleaner I got from Radio Shack. It's a spray can and helps clean them. The take some emory cloth and clean the male connectors. I clean the females by scraping them carefully with a jewelers screwdriver (flat blade) until all of the green is off of them. I spray them down with some brake cleaner and fill them with di-electric grease to help seal out moisture. Put them back together and you are good to go.

Schedule an afternoon and do every one of them including the ones I mentioned and the idle control connectors, EGR, every one you can. Be careful pulling off the connectors as they tend to break. Not much you can do about it except to be careful. Once you finish, you will find the motor should run much better.
