The way they sit on my car they almost look like they are in the "snow" range (keep the wipers from freezing to the cover plate on some cars).

Thanks, dyeing is easy for the most part. Make sure the seat is clean and then rub it down with alcohol, let it dry. Put a small amount of dye on, let it dry (1 - 4 hours depending on blend) and then repeat as needed until the color is matched/changed.White-Rush wrote:Very nice job on that seat.
Great Job Dean, couldn't help to notice but is that an EQ in the 2nd pic, between driver seat and shift knob?DeanM45 wrote:Thanks Anthony! Made all the difference in the world:
Never did put up pictures of my re-dyed seat:

Still need to do a little touch up but $20 in dye beats trying to find a new lower cushion or cover.
Tdot- I would assume so. With the wipers at more of an angle in the "parked" position an ice dam would have a harder time forming.
Yep, 7 band EQ with fader control, sub volume and system volume----also has an adjustable crossover for the sub. I use it to tune the sound to my liking based on source/content. System volume controls everything, including the sub, by raising or lowering the input to the amps. This allows me to run low volume on the stock radio and raise the overall volume using the EQ for very low distortion at, potentially, painful volume levels. :-)Wangtang408 wrote:Great Job Dean, couldn't help to notice but is that an EQ in the 2nd pic, between driver seat and shift knob?
2nd. WTF Infiniti?TDot wrote:Will adjusting the rise give you the ability to raise the wipers in the winter/snowstorm?
Not really. Just wiggle the arm or try pushing the arm toward the windshield and back up. In my experience removing wiper arms, they always come off/get on easier, even effortlessly, when that short arm closest to the bolt is pushed down or rather is as parallel as possible to the windshield.TDot wrote:I tried adjusting the arm and I couldn't get it to budge. I took the nut off and couldn't move the arm at all. I couldn't even take the arm off the bolt. Any special way of maneuvering something?
