i figured that i would ask here, because i think it might be a wiring problem? when i bought the car it was already swapped with a ca18det. the previous owner told me that the guy before him had done the swap so he didn't do the wiring either.

well anyways on with the problem... the previous owner told me that he thinks the wiper switch is bad, because it wasn't working. but after i was messing around with it, i found out that its just in reverse... and not like normal. what i mean by that is... i had adjusted the wipers so they were up on the dash and not down by the cowl like normal.

when you use the wiper switch, the wiper blades move all the way down and then back up again. so it works... its just that they are moving the wrong way and not up to wipe your windshield and then back down.

i'm not sure what part of the harness gets spliced and rewired? and i was hoping that someone might know? oh yeah its a s13 coupe.

if I'm not mistaken, what might have happened is the wiper motor and the transmission are out of sync. try taking the motor out and turn the gear back to the down position. than try it agin, and see if it works.
