Wiper covers

I bought a 2013 Rogue last weekend after having a 2004 Murano for almost 9 years. I just noticed that the front wipers look very cheap and don't seem to have the same outer cover like the ones on the Murano (and on my wife's 2011 Maxima). Does that have to do with the stock blade that was put on the car? If not, can that outer cover be added?

Not sure which part you're referring to. This is for the Murano.

You may be referring to regular wiper blades vs. flat blades.

You can replaced regular wiper blades with flat blades if you want.
AFAIK, the Rogue comes with regular wiper blades as stock / OEM equipment.

As said above, its the actual wiper you would have to replace.

No, I think I'm looking for the ones like harryg was talking about. I'm confused as to why Nissan would put the cheaper looking blades on a brand new vehicle (they may work great, but they look pathetic). I'll endure the ones that are on there now for a bit and then change them.

I guess it comes down to a matter of personal taste, as most people are moving to the frame-less style wiper. When you do get around to swapping out your blades, post some before and after close up pics.
