Alright so if most of you don't know already...I live in Edinboro, Pa...and we get a DAMN good amount of snow.

This wrecks HAVOC on my wipers.

On my way home yesterday for spring break...the snow and ice claimed its next victim. I must not have gotten all of the ice out from under my hood and my wiper arm on the drivers side (of course) no longer turns.

Now today I tore it open to check the damage. I will definitely need a new arm. The spindle itself is worn down but it MAY or MAY NOT work. I'll have to test it once I get a new arm later today.

My question is this, if the teeth on the spindle are too worn down, how do you replace the spindle and where can I buy them????

You would probably need to get a wiper linkage assembly. I'm sure you could find one in a junk yard.

See I already replaced that linkage inside that connects the two wipers. I never replaced the spindle itself though.
