If you pull on it, it doesn't pull strait because you are pulling from the wiper arm so it is tilting and not coming out strait. Hit is with some pb blaster or wd 40, then tap on it with a hammer as you wiggle on it. It won't come off easy. eventually after tapping it with the hammer, pb blaster and wiggling it all at the same time it will come right off, just rock it back and forth while doing all of the things till it aligns up strait and pull it off strait.
I would advise aginst prying it with anything, your liable to break, crack dent, scratch something.
this is for a rear wiper delete but use similar method of removal .
