winterizing, ugh

anyone else take off mods for the winter? i took off my coils and my car is back to fire truck status. I almost wanted to put them back on. I mean i know its all for the better but damn doods, it made me really sad to see.

If I had coils, I'd raise them to a ridiculous height. If I hade nice wheels, I'd put some crappers on with Blizzaks. If I had a lip, I'd take it off. Instead, I rhino line everything bare underneath my car that I can get to.

damn never thought about that, but then again i live in texas and we dont get crazy snow or crazy crazy winters.

i had a project s13 for a little while back in the day, i bought it at the beginning of winter, i left it by the garage and didnt mess with it for a while, it snowed one day and i thought "you know i never checked the coolant, how much water was in there"
well it was all water, and the damn thing was totally frozen lol the rad hoses were hard as a rock.
i took a baking pan and some charcoal and fired it up under the oil pan, bout 20 minutes later, it was all good. i got extremely lucky.
now i pay attention to things like that faithfully.

i wish i had another car. cant afford one at the moment, i just got a job out of college. but anyway, i already put the coils back on..... it was a monster truck
