I've got the sport package on my new g37 vert with the summer tires it came with - I've got to get something else if I'm going to drive this in the winter. What are others doing about winter tires / wheels?

thanks,

Peter

In NY I would suggest a dedicated winter tire, like Blizzak's. You can probably get a set of 18" wheels for winter-use only but be careful to make sure they clear the sport calipers.

I think I'm going to do that - get 18" dedicated wheels and Blizzaks from tirerack. I don't think I'll get the tpms sensors on the winter wheels though.

Right now I've still got my Audi (will be selling shortly) which is fantastic in the snow, and my bmw e36 vert (also will be selling but waiting for some sun) so along with my wife's BMW X3 we've got four cars and a two car garage with second rims with summer tires sitting in the back for those three.

go with the blzzaks. I did and this past weekend we had over 1 foot of snow which the tires handled perfectly.
