Due to the previous extreme cold I had thinned out my 10w-40 redline fill with a quart of 0w-20 Syntec when I was driving the car in December ( out of a total capacity of 6.25 due to 1 qt in the JWT spacer and .25 in the compressor)
Since my wife left to visit her mom back in Europe I have been driving our 09 Malibu so the Z sat for a month outside ( no garage)
It has a new battery and never had any charge losses, before so I was confident it would start right up despite the drag of a dry supercharger compressor.
Today was a perfect day for it. kinda warmish 38 F.
It did start right up, I let it warm up and then drove it around and up some hills for 20 minutes gettig everything fully warmed up and making sure my battery stays charged and fresh.
Afterwards took joy in cleaning the engine bay
Just thought I'd share
