Hello, I have been doing alot of searching and have not come up with an answer. I have a 2002 Maxima and I have been researching winter tires. The other day we got a big storm in CT and driving home my speedometer read 140mph all the way home and i was only moving at 10mph (this is on ****ty Nitto summer tires). I went on tire rack and search for winter tire packages with the steel 16" rims (I think they will fit stockers are 17") I was looking for Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50 because i will be driving in unplowed snow areas during the winter. The only size they had that would fit the 16" rim was 205/65QR16. Does anyone know if these will have any problems fitting. Please help me Thanks

You will probably have to test fit them to be 100 percent sure, but I am pretty sure they will fit.

They are only about .6 of an inch taller than your stock 225/50/17s tires and they are going to be narrower. If your car isn't lowered, I am sure there is an extra half inch of clearance.

The speedometer will be off by like 2-3 percent.

Did you check craigslist? Usually you can find all kinds of snow tires for sale fairly cheap.
