Winter tires/wheels for '07 6CMT coupe?

Just bought an '07 6CMT coupe w/ everything but nav and will need to get winter tires and wheels for it before summer ends. The summer tires are 19". I've heard 17" winter tires are the way to go. Any recommendations on brand, size, wheels, etc. from those of you up north with 6MT coupes?

I went with Blizzaks. I couldn't afford at the time to spend the extra $$$ on winter rims...so I stayed with my stock 19's. (I know...not recommended because it's bad for the rims)

They work fine...just ALWAYS keep your VDC on in the winter...trust me
