Hi everyone

I am planning on purchasing a set of winter tires and wanted to buy a different set of rims for winter.
I came across this and was wondering if it would fit a 2006 M35x

OEM rims from a g35

Is the price reasonable? What should I be checking for? Will I need to get a new sensor for tire pressure?

or should I got for smaller rims for winter? Example 17"?

Thanks for all the advice

Welcome.

I think those will fit I'm not certain of offset. Should be able to clear your calipers but may be too far inside the fender. Do you live close enough to go and try one on? I'm in the GTA and went the 17" thinner wheel route. It just makes no sense at all to me why anyone would put low profile winter tires on unless you are stuck due to caliper clearance. My tires are cheaper to replace and because they're 225 there's plenty of bite for the slippery weather. Good luck.

Always go to a smaller/thinner winter tire if you can. You want to "knife" through the snow/ice/slush and thinner tires are what make that happen

Thanks, for the advice, I think I will go with the suggestion to get 17" since I found new tires and a set of used rims for around 700$.
