Car: 2007 Infiniti G35S

Hi, i'm new to this forum and a new G35S owner.
i'm just wondering if 225/55R17 would fit and work well as a winter tire set for my car?
is there anything particular that i should look for and beware of when i get a set of winter tires for my car?
also any suggestions to which winter tire is best would be helpful.
