Just bought Michelin Latitude X-Ice tires for my Rogue. Have not installed them yet. Anyone else purchase these and wondering how good they are on ice and snow?

I heard that they are supposed to be pretty good. I installed mine about 2 weeks ago but no snow to test them on. On the little ice we have right now, it seems to stop pretty good.

What size did you buy?

I have the AWD model.

Michelin X-Ice are supposed to be generally really good winter tires all around. In all classes. I've never heard any complaints about the X-Ice other than cost. I looked at those but avg cost was $1300. I went with the Toyo Tires (from other ppl talked to and research found they were equally as good) and they were $300 cheaper. (16") So far extremely happy with them. Very quiet and smooth ride and handle really well.

Got them last winter. They are really quiet on dry pavement (more than the Contis) and the handling did not change. On snow and ice, they are not supposed to be the best but still better than average. I found them quite good as I was stuck only once but it was partly my fault as I parked in force in a snow bank, in a hill going up, where there was pure ice below the snow .It took me some shoveling to get out and I just have to remember now that I don't have AWD on mine for the next time I want to do that (I would have probably been able to get out with AWD as it was the snow in front of the rear wheels which blocked me mostly).

Quite impressive car on snow and ice, and the michelin help a lot.

Tried them on a Toyota and they are ok. Not fantastic, but not horrible.

The problem with these tire is the thread depth, so I'm not sure that you will can use it for 4 winters. If yes, the compound need to be harder than other brand.

From what I understand, the Michelin X-Ice excels at icy road traction. However, the shallow tread depth and pattern means deeps snow traction is not it's strong point. If you drive plowed/snow packed icy roads, the X-Ice should perform well.
