What's everyone using for their winter tires?

I am using my Toyo Proxxees H4 205/60R15's during these cold months instead of my 215/45ZR17's.

What are you using?

nice, those any good? Those are kind of a cross betweena touring and a performance tire. How are they?

I use them as a kind of all season with a little hard driving on them via autox's and stuff. They have held up well. I had them on my u13 before I bought a 240. I liked them and they are fairly cheap so i went with them on my 240. I don't know how they are for winter as I haven't seen any snow yet. So far, so good.

what would be acceptable sizes for a 2003 altima 2.5s????? it's for my girlfriends car and want to get snows on for her (she's a nurse, so she has to get there!!!!). i went to the tire rack site but all they showed was blizzaks w-50, i believe. thinking she might be able to go with different sizes to have more choices. any help would be great!!!! thanks guys. 16's. Tire Rack only shows the oem size, 225/60/16, I believe.

I have the stock Turanza's that came with the car. I just bought Toyo Proxes TPT for my WRX. Something to get me through the winter.

Bud you have awd. You shouldn't need snow tires.

They are not snow tires. They are all seasons that will replace teh crappy RE92's that came with the WRX.

Snow today, the Toyo Proxes TPT passed the test. AWD is a great thing, but with out the right rubber on the road, its not as good.

I can understand that being the case. Haven't had barely any snow here in Iowa, so I don't know how the 240 is gonna take it. Sure ownt be as easy as my altima was to drive through im sure.

Toyo TPT's are awesome tires. I have a set along with a set of Proxxes H4's that never seem to wear out of the tread. The H4's are 4 years old now and were driven on by 2 different cars over those 4 years and they still have 9/32 of tread on them. I love anything Toyo!!
