Winter Tires

I have a problem, I have a new 2006 Grand Touring Package with the 18 in the front and 19 in the back.

I am currently located in Canada and would like some snow tires.

The problem is:

1. It's not legal to have chains in Toronto.2. It seems that most major website/tire companies do not sell 265/40 -19 in snow tires (for obvious reasons I guess).

So I was wondering if there is any other solution as I would like to drive it in the winter.

My best thought right now is to just swap some 18s in the back, but wasn't sure about the brake clearence.

18s will clear standard and Brembo brakes. Its the offset that you have to worry about.

yeah go to some 18's and get some good tires. Post up some pics of your Z too!
