Well winter is just around the corner here in Utah and was looking at some of the posts covering winter tires and they are a bit old. Looking for suggested way to go with tires. Have MXM4's on since 05 (light driving) and have had no issues with them. Wearing out and figured since winter was close, need to look for replacements. Have a CRV for the trips up the canyon to ski so they will be for town type stuff with the occaisonal valley snow. Have looked around CR and some other sites...different opinions out there so I wanted to check with you all. Thanks very much!!!

Guess it all depends on how much snow. Blizzak's do a good job is snowy areas. For light snow I had no issues with the Kumho ASX's I had on my Maxima and Sumitomo HTR+ did a great job in 1-2" of snow, although I would not use them for longevity.
