winter tire/wheel size

I am curious about what the smallest sized winter wheels will fit on a 2000 Maxima SE. Any advice would be helpful.TY

I would stick with the 16's, since that is the smallest size that came on the 2000 Maxima, at least in the US.

In the US spec Maxima's, there are a couple of styles of alloys and then some steel ones with wheel covers. The SE had 17's as an option that year and for '01.

I would not go any smaller than 16" if it were me. :)
