I'm just about to put my old 96 I30 (335,000 kms) up on stands (if I can figure out where to place them) and use the wheels to mount a set of winter tires for my new-to-me 96 I-30 (155,000 kms). My summer tires are 215/60R15 but I can't get either the Blizzak Revo 1 or the Michelin Ice x in that size. I can get plain old Blizzaks, but what's the fun in that?

So I'll be using stock Infiniti wheels, and my question is: actually I looked around the Tirerack site and it seems my current tires are not the stock size of 205/65/15. So I guess the real question is - and it may be that this is just too general a question - but how do I decide which size to go with? In the past the tire guys just put the damn thing on and i drove away. But I assume there are pros and cons to going with a different size . . .
