winter tire setup

is it ok to use 225-50-17 all around for a winter setup on my 06 g35 coupe or does it have to be staggered?

You should be fine. ost people who go with winter set they drop to 17". Smaller is better in witer. Smaller size and taller tires.

You have to go with a staggered setup on a coupe, otherwise you will have to drive with VDC off, which may not be the smartest thing when driving in snow.

I went 215/50(or 55 cant remember)/17 tires on 4 Infiniti black wheels (the ones that they use to ship the car) and its fine. An NO I don't have to deactivate the VDC. It works perfectly with this setup.Using Michelin Alpine PA3 winter tiresI'll keep the stagered setup for my stock 19s in summer
