Have been looking at winter tires and steel rims and the 2 most interested in are the Michelin latitude x-ice and the Yokohamas Geolandar I/T G072Nissan and most tire stores recommend downsizing from P 225/60R17 to 215/70R16Overall diameter stays the same and the narrower tire put more pressure per sq.in. on the road = better traction.Pricing the Michelins are Cnd. $ 177- 180 Yokos $138 - 173 Steel rims after market OEM $63. lowestForm Nissan dealer original rims normal cost $90.ea. but if you get the tire pkg. $75. ea.So summing it up from dealer 180. + 20. installation balance and valve + rim 75. X 4 = 1100.Let me know if you have been able get a better deal price and tire brand.By the way, they also have at dealer Hankook (made in China) on Nissan rims $ 870. I’m staying way from themThe above prices reflect Cnd. $ US prices much lower

I paid $1200 from the dealer for rims and tires in January. I have Toyo Observe G02s in the 17s.
