winter sucks

Winters in British Columbia are crap. With the moist air and freezing point our municipalities feel that salt is their only defence. I have my car undercoated and such and it does help but i was wondering if anyone has some good tips for exterior care in the winter. I spray the car off before parking it (i luckily have a garage) but that doesn't always help. Any good tips?

I am a neighbor of canada and dont see why you guys use salt. We dont here in ND. MAybe BC is different. I have no clue where that is in Canada. Washing it would be the best bet. If we used snow here, I would rinse my car everday or buy a beater.........

haha axel, ya i keep the 240 in my shop most of the winter because i have a honda as well so i beat on that and baby the nissan. but sometimes the 240 has to be used when weather isn't too bad. I wont take it in the snow but it is the salted roads that kills it. I dont have any rust at all and i hope to keep it that way. the snow never stays here more than a couple days but the salt stays all season!!!!

Get one of the rust enhibitor bolton. it has zink to chemicly stop rust. Don't have it, but people say it works.
