The wife will be happy, I finally finished cleaning up the wheels I grabbed of CL. I used Wicked Metal Polish to clean the grime and Collonite 476s to wax. They are not perfect but they are damn good for an $80 CL find. The wife will be pleased because the wheels are out of the dining room and in the garage. :) (Note: These 15x7 wheels weigh 20lbs each w/o tires)

Next up, my new GaragePro truck cover from JC Whitney. $47 shipped, used shipping coupon code. It's not Nissan specific but rather minitruck-reg cab fitment. It fits well, has elastic to hold it along the bottom edge. It also comes with a storage bag. This one is an indoor cover, it would not survive being outside during winter. But since the truck is inside an indoor cover will work just fine.

Till April 2011...

Thank you, I saw them on CL for $100 at first. A month later he had dropped them to $80. I called him that night and told him to put a sold sign on them. Ironically I had met the guy earlier this year at a cruise night, he saw my truck in the lineup and was so excited he talked my ear off about it. He has a 92 SEV6 2wd in good shape. He was going to put these on his truck but decided against it. All they needed was removing the old tires and some elbow grease. I'll have tires on them before Spring 2011.

Don't worry, you will love the changes I have planned for 2011. I hope things go the way I want.

My floor is too uneven to have all four corners up on jack stands. The tires on it are shot so what do I care if they dry-rot a little bit from sitting on the floor? Last winter, when the tires still had tread on them, I parked it on four pieces of cardboard, worked like a charm keeping it off the concrete.

I would be making mods if the garage was heated, I must get a propane heater sometime in the future. I just have a pile of parts forming in hopes that Spring arrives quickly.
