It's the beginning of the "winter tire" thread season!

First off, hey all. I've been a lurker here for a little over a year. Believe it or not you all helped me decide between a Prius and the M45 :chuckle: I bought my '06 M45 Sport last October. I love it! The best car I've owned or driven.

While researching the car last year I looked up info on winter tires and a set of rims...I lost my links. I wanted to check my memory and make sure I'll be OK. My car is completely stock so it has the OEM 19" sport rims. I'm thinking of buying a set of OEM 18" rims. The tires would be 245-45-18.

Look OK?

I honestly searched around for the original links I found last year...no luck.

Thanks!

18's will fit the car fine. The AWD M's come with 18" wheels

I bought a set of used g35coupe rims 18"s off fleabay. They were in great shape and they fit perfectly on my m35x.

To be honest I wasn't sure how they would look at first before I put them on, but now I really like the look. Obviously I didn't use staggered tires like the coupe but it gives my M a completely different look for a good part of the year.

It hasn't started snowing yet, but once it does I'll put them on and take a pic for everyone to see.
