winshield wiper switch?

ok so im assuming the answer to my troubles is the switch for my winshield wipers is going bad...my symptoms are that the wipers turn on by themselves and the only way i can turn them off is by pulling the 20A fuse in the fuse box...assuming im correct do i need to remove the steering wheel to get to the switch???

Simple to remove and replace and there is a Nico member who has a wiper switch too.
