I ordered a replacement windshield wiper arm for the driver side of a 2004 I35. (28886-2Y90A)
I'm trying to figure out if the catalog part numbers are wrong or they put the wrong sticker on my package.

The part number on the packaging matches the catalog but the wiper arm is the same as my passenger side.
On the driver side wiper arm, near by were it bolts on, there are the letters "LD" and on the passenger side the letters "LA" Do your cars match this?

Your orientation is off, that's why you got the wrong part. Left and right are determined from inside the vehicle, not outside facing it. American vehicles are left hand drive. You ordered part 28886-2Y90A, which is for the passenger (right) side. You need to order part 28881-2Y90A, which is for the drivers (left) side.

But the picture in the catalog shows an arrow pointing to the front of the car. I see it as 28886-2y90A as driver side.
No?

Does the "LD" marking stand for "left hand drive"?
If so what's "LA'

Thanks

The letter codes aren't important, and I'd say the image is misleading. The wiper arms are also used on Maiximas, with the part codes marked as I indicated.
