Winshield Help

mmmmm k.....

so i got a RHD kouki from japan....well duh RHD since its from japan.

windshield is cracked pretty decently.

would a kouki windshield from a kouki made here in america fit in its place? or would their be i different curve in the glass?

Uhhh its a windsheild. Call a place that installs windsheilds and they can figure it out for you.

i have called places.

they arent 100% sure if it will fit or not.

the guy at the shop said he did a windshield swap on a skyline, and he had to get the window from japan because there was a slightly different curve from it being RHD. (something to do with glare for the driver or something)

anyone got any ideas?

I really dont think it would be different. Plus there are people that do the RHD swap on there cars here and there arent any glare problems.

the only reason why i would see that you would need a windshield from japan or specifically out of a silvia is if it had HUD.... if it doesnt, then no, you can use a regular usdm windshield. im not going by fact.... im going by common sense, so %99.999999999 sure.

i think the usdm one would fit just fine....dont let them charge you more just because you didnt do research find a usdm s14 and compare!!! measure etc
