Alright guys I'm thinking about getting the Wings West fascia for my Black 90 300zx TT. My OEM fascia has been broken right in the middle since I hit a big a$$ porcupine coming around a hairpin corner at night. What I'm wondering is.. should I buy the fascia and have an Auto paint shop paint the whole car with the fascia installed or just have a place paint the fascia then install it? Any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated.

WW is one of the worst fascia's I can think of. However, it's your car. And to answer your question, it all depends on how much you want to spend.

Repainting the whole car would look great and everything would match perfectly, but we are talking about a TON of money difference between that and just painting the bumper. I would take them the fascia, get your paint color code, and take them your fuel cap door so they can have something to match to.

Unless your paint is beat, match shouldn't be much of a problem. That is the one good thing about black, very easy to match. White is actually one of the hardest, followed by red (what I have). So, I wouldn't get the whole car painted, just shoot the bumper and I think you will like the result.

Alright after much debate and listening to differing opinions.. as well as looking at several different Fascia's I'm actually thinking that the Stillen GTZ-R fascia would look sick on my black on black Z TT. I found this on conceptzperformance:

I found this sick looking GTZ-R fascia on Ricky's Monster Z:

You do know that you can pick up the 99 Jspec for $495 plus $95 shippping. It comes with the smoked corner lights. It isn't any additional to what you are looking at.

300zxclub store. It has everything you need, the fascia, markers and grille. It's $495 +$95 shipping. I bought it in the spring group buy in March of 2010 for $
395. I spent the extra $150 and got it shaved since NC doesn't require a front plate, not necessary though. It looks great either way.

Here's a shot of the front fascia shaved. It isn't the best light as the Z was in the shade, but it really looks good up close.

Z1 has the J SPEC 99 for $533 along with the corner lights and free pigtails. This is probably going to sound retarded but my plan is to buy the miscellaneous parts (foam support, retainer, mesh grille) from CZP first and the fascia when the weather gets better here in Minnesota. I want to do the fascia myself as I'm a big DIYer. I just don't think I could buy all the parts in one shot together with how my money flow goes.. spread out the spending a little bit. I'm thinking about also getting a Godspeed smic for the car as well so I'd probably get the godspeed intercooler ducts instead of the 99 NISMO J SPEC ducts. Anyways we'll see how everything goes.

The 300zxclub stuff ships from Z1, I believe. It ships from the same city. It has all you mentioned above, plus the grille. I got mine in 3 days and it is cheaper by $43 ($38 price + $5 shipping). You won't need the foam support either. If you really want to, the old one can be shaved to fit. It's not really necessary though.
