I was looking for reputable shops in my are who do good body work/ engine work, upgrading etc. I really wanna go and form a relation ship with the guys over there i just gotta fix a couple thing with my car then take a drive out. I just wanna know the input of anyone who has gave them business.

I know that place. It's on Grand Ave. bordering Queens and Brooklyn. That shop just deal with 240's. Never took my car there though but passed by many times when going to brooklyn.

Well the reason is I have some troouble with my stut towers i bought my hatch and well i was informed that the strut towers were re welded but the weld job is not a good one. There is a hole on each side of the strut tower as well. for DD its fine but i honestly get scared when sliding because i dont think it can withstand the stresses of drifting. I thought since they "specialise" in 240's I'd bring it to him. As long as its done right and i can drift with no worries other than not trying not to crash im willing to pay what ever the price is to have my baby running good. i only get 7:50 an hour but ill get it done lol. I also dont know jack s**t about mechanics so im willing to stay and watch. I will try to get pictures posted of my struts soon but if anyone can help me out please let me know thanks.joe

did someone bang flat the strut tower pinch weld? the one that can rip your tire. if so, this causes your strut tower to weaken. there's a reason why that protruding metal is there is to create lateral support on the tower.

I honestly do not know. I purchased the car like that and to be honest that's the only flaw beside little dents on the car. I think I found a gem for a northern car if you asked me. I only get payed 7.50 an hour but as long as the job is done right and I can keep drifting with no problem I'm willing to save and pay what ever the cost may be. I'm not putting myself out there to get robbed but I love my car and I'm willing to do what ever it takes to keep it running the way I want.

Well i wanted to do an rb swap but it seems as i did research around the site the sr is a way more smarter swap to do being that parts are easier to find etc. so my plans are the sr swap (usual it seems lolol) a good suspension, and some body work take out some dings def get those struts re welded i have a little rust def get that re welded and thats it that i can think of. i want this to be my track/ daily cause thats just the way it is im not one of these ppl on here who is fortunate enough to be able to have a daily and track. as far as cosmetics are concerned i have in mind the 180 conversion (again the usual lol) with a midnight purple (like the one you see on a GTR) and bronze cr kai rims by work. I am not too concerned for cosmetics as of now i just want my baby running right so i can keep hitting events and drift. I went to jersey on the 11th to the east coast bash 3 and it was probably the worst thing i coul've put myself thru not being to get out there and drift with the other drivers who did very well the east coast has some good drifters i solute them lol.

sorry to hear anyone has had a bad experience at wings.im wondering if that had to do with someone that worked there in the past that is no longer at the shop??

I hang out there all the time with wing as well as go to the shows and road race courses with the wings team.. yes he specializes in 240s, but they work on all kinds of cars. if you saw us at HIN englishtown show this year you would have seen we also had a GS-t at the show.

j phantom, feel free to email me here or myspace me (im always on my myspace page)http://www.myspace.com/thedevilsvixxxen

I haven't heard anything about Wings in a long time ... all I know is that a few years back, the word was they were awesome when it came do body work and stuff, but motors was a different story. Again, that was a couple years back. Don't know how it is now.
