Windshield wipers will not turn off until i turn the car off... while the car has power, i can the turn switch to off, ive played with that little twisty knob.. which i dont know what it does (on the end of the windshield wiper switch/handle).. the only way i can turn it off is to kill the car.

TCU possibly. Its either that or the wiper motor it self. It cant find its park position. This is the case if the wipers arent on when you turn the key back on.

Can you still adjust the speed of the wipers?

I can adjust the speed of the wipers, kinda.. i only have 2 options really.. medium, and fast, i dont know what that little twisty knob does.. the first and second setting of the wipers are the same, then the last is fastest.. and what i do is put the wiper switch all the way to the top, then turn the car off, and turn the key back on

the "twisty thing" is your intermitten wipers. If they dont pulse when in that mode [the first position] then your motor is not parking.

Ok, so its more than likely the motors... time to find some ultra-hardcore ones.. for front and back.. my back wiper moves like.. 1/2" and acts like it doesnt know what to do, so it just freezes.

well, its not the motors.. i got a new motor today, and installed it, it still will not turn off.. it is something else...

what else could be causing this?

try unplugging the switch. if that works i will get the wiring diagram and walk you through using jumper wires to operate the wipers. this will isolate the switch. hopefully we will not have to mess with the wiper amp.

thats what i am saying. if you unplug it points toward the switch(not 100% but very likely).

After not thinking, i went on my break today, and turned my wipers on, and then off, then tapped the green box, they turned off.. as well as with enough hit...tapping of the box, it would turn the wipers intermediary controll on and all the good stuff... so i need a new box.
