I went to replace my windshield wipers (i just bought a used 1997 t model). However the Bosh Premium's (black label)'s didn't work. Apparently I have that the type of wipers that you have to screw on with that little adapter, only the BOSCH adapter didn't fit (the screw holes weren't aligned right). None of the other wipers in the parts store were compatible.

Is this normal? Did j30's come with special blade attachments? Or did the previous owner do something weird to it? Where do I get compatible wiper blades?

If you have the original Infiniti windshield wipers (you'll notice the logo) get the Infiniti/Nissan refills. Its a great blade that lasts a very, very long time.

I just bought new wipers for my J30.. not refills. They were Bosch and they also had the adapter. At first I thought they wouldnt fit, because the little bent piece at the end of the adapter wasnt hanging over the end of the wiper arm. BUT, i lined up the holes anyway, and tightened down the adapter until the little bent piece bent itself up. Worked perfectly fine and they are tight as hell. OOONLY downside is that the adapters raise the position of the wipers about .75" up the windsheild.. so they are slightly more noticable from the cabin now.

Anyway.. the Bosch book said 21" for driver and 19" for passneger. I upped them to 22/20 respectivley and find the windshield actually looks larger now when its raining. They dont hit anything nor each other so I would suggest it if youd like

bottom line- Bosch wipers with the adapter WILL work!

I am using Bosch wipers on my J30. You can either only use one screw to hold them on which I am doing, or get out your electric drill and drill a new hole in the right place if you want to use two screws. The adapter comes with the wipers. Bought the 19 inch and 21 inch on sale at Kragen for $25 for the pair. I have been driving for four years only using one screw and the wipers haven't come off yet.

Go to part source or something. Ask the guy for some adaptors. He may be able to get them in for you or have some lying around.

Just had to find new pair of windshield wipers and I searched all over like everyone else, I finally went to Wal-Mart, I found a 14" wiper blade for about $7.99 probably a piece of junk chinnese one but so far it hasn't been any trouble.

Of all the places I looked auto stores, everywhere Wal-Mart was the one place that would have on go figure :?

I've always used the $3.99 -5.99 wal-mart specials with no issues.

occasionally I've went with higher dollar models but when the snow and ice hit...they all freeze up, break, and wear out the same.
