Hello All,I need some guidance regarding my windshield wipers not working on my 1990 Q45. It happened yesterday when I attempted to clean my windshield and I heard a loud thunk. The water was ejected onto my windshield, but the wipers did not move. I heard the wiper motors humming, but the wipers did not move. Any ideas as to what the problems are? Any help would be greatly appreciated.ThanksJames

Do they move manually with ease?

Yes , they do when the wipers are in the off position. If I turn the wiper arm on inside the car, they become rigid and will not move.Thanks for replying.
