Sometimes it is just the easy questions. Anybody have any thoughts on the best wipers for an 08 M. they need to be good for all seasons. local auto parts place said I needed to purchase from an infiniti dealer. I thought that was a little strange but maybe not too unusual.

thanks

I use www.silblade.com Silicone blades. They are great ... also available at Amazon.com ...

I installed the Goodyear Assurance blades from Costco in February - they don't streak or squeek and I live in one of the rainiest areas of the country.

I installed PIAA Forza Hybrid Silicone blades in September of 2010 and the only streaking they are doing is where I installed a longer-than-factory blade. Moreover, as I followed the windshield treatment instructions and proceeded to follow the maintenance instructions for their super silicone blades, the water still beads up (and it was still better than fresh rain-x in September of 2011). This is after using them on some nasty icy days in late 2010 and early 2011. I guess I should dig up that review I posted sometime after their install and update it.

Here is my take on wipers, there are many very effective brands on the maket that will fit the M35 but according to Consumer Reports none of the makes they tested will be effective much longer than 6 months. CR recommendes you change wipers every year. I use ANCO 31 series which cost on sale $8.00 + tax(for both the 24 and 19 inch blades) and replace every year. This process works well for me here in MN.

Good Luck

I concur! Wiper blades are not something you can chock up as a cheap expense when it comes to car care. Keep a clean windshield, wash your blades off when u wash your car and replace twice a year, you will be straight!
