I have spend over 200 dollars in the past year trying to get some wiperblades that will keep full contact with the windshield during the full wipe. But surly enough, my driver side, when i go over 100km/h (60mph), it bring half the washer fluid back when making the full wipe.

DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM?

i have bought RAINX, ARMORALL, TRICO, GOODYEAR, MICHELIN, you name it, i have them, i even used the little spring thing to make the wiperblade in full contact but no luck when i go on high speeds...

ANY SUGGESTIONS????

I also hate the pressure i get from the fluid washer motor, any way of making that better?

thanx guys

Bosch ICON.
Google is your friend to find these on the web for good prices.

I have bought such wipers for about 13 $ and they are very good. I ran with it about 130 km/h and it was very well.

are you sure its the wipers and not the arm itself? maybe the arm has lost its ability to stick against the windshield?

Oh I think I know what you mean now,

That when the wiper is extending all the way ( Close to the A pillar) it didn't actually get all the water in that motion, so when it is going back to the down position, it kind of flings water on the other side of the windshield?

That just started happening to me with those wierd looking one piece Rain-x ones

Before that, I had the more conventional style Bosch ones which cleared the rain off really well, but squeaked massively even in a downpour... I had to put that liquid rain-x stuff on my windshield about twice a month just to stop from going crazy.

So, yeah, can't really help you

Chris, thats exactly what i am talking about.... it seems like the wind just lifts the wiper up when its near the pilar and brings half of the water through the middle of the blade.

If its a common problem then sure i can live with that but i wanna know if its my QX4 or everyone else's too...

Bosch ICON is good but Bosch Evolution is better. It replaces the ICONs I believe, and they're VERY good! One single swipe across the windshield cleans in dry! No streaks, no squeaking. I bought mine at NAPA - it ran me $55 (tax in) for both.

$55 for just the wiper blades? yikes! I ussually spend about 22-25 dollars annually on a new set.

Do your homework on the Bosch. My ICONs were about $21 each at O'Reilieys, I found them online a few weeks later for
just over half that. But they are good wipers.

Same here. A little cheaper than the icon as well. $9/wiper on amazon with free shipping when i got em last year. Pretty good in winter weather as well.

Edit: Just checked amazon and it will run you 25 and change for both wipers.

Ensure the washer fluid lines are not kinked and the washer fluid nozzles are clear of any build-up. Also ensure they are aimed properly; see EC-175.

yea my wipers are a pain in the butt.. I purchased some cheapo michelin wipers from walmart and the first week or so, the chatter was so bad that the blade fell off the arm while driving. I had to pull over and pop it back in. A week later the passenger side did the same thing. I've now had the blades for 2 months and they no longer squeak or chatter.

The only time that I had a wiper fall of the arm was when I had Michelin's on! They sucked from day one and then a few weeks after buying them one of them fell off while I was driving on the highway! Coincidence?

On a side note - $55 for wipers which last at least a year is really not that bad considering all the other car related expenses. I spent over $4k on fuel last year so 55 bucks is peanuts compared to that.
