windshield wiper troubles...

so i was driving and my winshield wipers decided to magically turn on...lol...wifey and i got a kick out of it and figured my car was possessed but then when they wouldnt turn off it started to get annoying...now the only way to turn them off is by pulling the fuse...any ideas people????i figured it might be the relay but i dont know how to test it...once again any information would be greatly appreciated...

But did you check all the things I told you? Wiper switch, relay, timer and motor?

ive narrowed it down to a short in the switch i think....i replaced the fuse and the issue stopped...but then again on ther way to the doctors office this morning it startted doing it again but it stopped on its own too...if anyone has a diagram to take the dash apart especially the steering column it would be greatly appreciated...
